The Growlers
Over the weekend my friends and I cruised over to Fitzgerald's to shake our hips and sway along to the beautiful, psychedelic 60's surf-rock beats of The Growlers. My third time seeing them (once in Houston, once in San Francisco) and I was excited as ever. Their fun "beach goth" sound magically transforms my frazzled, stressed-out brain to a feeling like I'm partying on a Southern California beach 50 years ago without a care in the world.
